Evolution
1984
Company founded, starting production of welded parts, tailpipes, Y-pipes, and clamps.
1989
Invests in technology to offer bent tubing, meeting “assembly quality” standards.
1992
The Maldonado trademark is officially registered.
2005
Achieves ISO 9001:2005 certification.
2007
First entry into the Original Equipment (OE) market, beginning work with Kenworth Mexicana — a partnership that continues to this day.
2010
Opens a second plant, transferring the mufflers, clamps, and brackets production line.
2012
Achieves ISO/TS 16949 certification.
2014
Launches formal efforts to secure distributors abroad, particularly in the United States.
2018
Achieves IATF 16949:2016 certification for both plants.
2024
Maldonado celebrates its 40th anniversary by increasing production capacity, implementing Lean Manufacturing methodology, and expanding into new markets within the metal-mechanic industry.
